One of the ambitions of the Ancient Connections project is to inspire increasing numbers of overseas visitors to visit one, or ideally both, of the regions of North Pembrokeshire and North Wexford. This also includes a greater flow of travel between the two regions as the communities we are working with get to know each other through their involvement in the various projects and events that we are hosting over the coming months and years.
The project works in close partnership with the two official tourism organisations for the regions: Visit Pembrokeshire and Visit Wexford. Through these sites, visitors can find out much more about what to see and do in Pembrokeshire and Wexford, as well as information about where to find accommodation.
Given the current travel restrictions associated with COVID-19, we recommend that potential visitors check what restrictions apply to their own situation before making travel arrangements.
